About Us

It wasn’t overnight that we became Gatineau’s #1 GM dealer in the area, it took years of hardwork and dedication to our customers and the community around us. We’ve been a dealership for over 40 years, and been under the Surgenor Automobile Group banner since 2002. Since then we’ve become the top Gatineau source for Chevrolet vehicles. Beyond our dealership, we’re committed to the area around, giving back wherever possible to those in the Gatineau community. We’re proud to be one of the biggest contributors to the United Way, along with being partners with Gatineau Olympiques, M.Sc., and Ottawa Cancer Societies. Connecting with our customers and community is important to us, both inside our dealership and spread out into the entire city of Gatineau.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we operate the day-to-day functions of our dealership, what hasn’t changed is our commitment to our customers, now with added safety, convenience and preparation measures to ensure you're’ still able to get what you need, and doing so with peace-of-mind. Thus, we’ve developed a health & safety action plan to help us maintain a safe and friendly environment for you to still shop and service in.

  • Singular Entrance
    • All employees and customers are to use one entrance to the dealership.
  • Sanitization
    • High-traffic touchpoints are frequently sanitized, along with professional nightly cleaning of the dealership.
  • Loaners & Test Drive Preparation
    • Hard & soft surfaces in loaners and test-drive vehicles are cleaned every time a customer or staff uses the vehicle.
  • Test Drive & Valet Service
    • Out-of-dealership and virtual test drives are encouraged.
    • Vehicle maintenance valet pickup is offered.
  • Service Work Preparation
    • All technicians and service advisors are to wear disposable gloves during work.
  • Sanitizing Locations
    • Hand sanitizer dispensers are dispersed throughout the dealership, for both customers and staff to use often.
  • Handwashing
    • All Surgenor Gatineau members will practice consistent handwashing
    • We ask that you please refrain from handshakes.
  • Mandated Isolation
    • Any staff who has travelled abroad (including the United States) is to self-isolate for 14 days.
